These are your tasks:
As a Linux/Security Engineer at Swissmakers, you will play a crucial role in realising our mission to provide innovative and customer-centric IT solutions. Your main responsibilities will include:
Maintenance and optimisation of Linux-based systems: You ensure that our customers' Linux systems run smoothly and optimise them where necessary.
Implementation and maintenance of Elasticsearch, SIEM and Nextcloud: You will be responsible for the introduction and ongoing maintenance of these important systems for our customers.
Active participation in customer projects and development of solutions: You are actively involved in customer projects and contribute to the development of customised solutions.
Knowledge transfer within the team and to our customers: You share your knowledge not only within our team, but also with our customers to ensure their success.
What you bring with you:
We are looking for a Linux professional with proven experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Extensive Linux experience: You know Linux inside out.
Knowledge of SIEM: Ideally experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Wazuh.
Nextcloud expertise: Setting up private clouds with Nextcloud is a plus.
Willingness to learn: You are always hungry for knowledge and personal growth.
Self-employment: You can work on an hourly wage and master irregular projects.
Student(s): Bonus point if you are studying computer science, business informatics or similar.
